Territory Sales Manager – Rice Focus – SE MO, Eastern AR and LA
Ag 1 Source is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to cover the rice growing areas in SE MO, Eastern AR and LA, for a rapidly growing agricultural company focused on plant health, biologicals, and specialty crop inputs.
This position will focus on growing the territory through agricultural retailers, cooperatives, distributors, and other strategic accounts. The ideal candidate will bring strong relationships across the MidSouth, sound agronomic knowledge, and the ability to open new doors and build sales through the retail channel.

What you will be doing
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for SE MO, Eastern AR and LA.
- Grow sales through agricultural retailers, cooperatives, distributors, and strategic accounts
- Open new accounts and expand business within existing customers
- Identify and develop key retail sellers who can drive product adoption
- Build demand through product training, field demonstrations, agronomy meetings, and customer support
- Position products based on agronomic performance, operational fit, and economic value
- Manage territory forecasting, planning, and sales-growth objectives
- Travel throughout the territory to develop and support customer relationships
A successful candidate will possess
- Agricultural sales, agronomy, or crop-input experience
- Strong relationships within the territory.
- Experience working through the retail or distribution channel
- Proven success opening new accounts and growing a territory
- Strong agronomic and technical credibility
- The ability to sell, negotiate, and influence key accounts
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the territory
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
