David Weaver grew up in South Central Kansas and graduated with a Business Administration Degree from Bethel College in North Newton and an MBA from Wichita State. The first half of his career was spent within the financial services industry. He started out with an operations focus but quickly found that sales was his sweet spot and he ultimately spent a number of years selling both treasury management and investment management services to businesses across the Midwest.

David joined Career1Source in 2008 and helped build a thriving financial services recruiting platform. In 2013, he had the opportunity to step into a nascent private equity practice and it has been an incredible ride since then. Today David works with some of the most respected micro-focused private equity firms in the country, helping their portfolio companies build out the leadership teams that will help them produce incredible results and deliver the phenomenal returns the firms and their investors are expecting.

While David is always connected to work in some way, he does find ways to recharge. Some of his favorite things away from work are traveling with his wife; spending time with his daughters, their husbands and his three grandsons; enjoying the Rocky Mountains whenever possible; playing golf and yes, playing spirited pickleball with his two younger brothers and a buddy.
