Career 1 Source is working with a well-capitalized, family-owned community bank that is seeking an experienced Market President to lead and grow its Southeast Kansas market.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a proven community banker who enjoys combining commercial lending, people leadership, and community involvement. What you will be doing:

• Lead the branch market, overseeing lending, deposits, and overall branch performance
• Build, manage, and grow a commercial and CRE loan portfolio
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for branch and lending staff
• Maintain strong credit quality while supporting profitable loan growth
• Actively participate in civic, business, and industry organizations
• Serve as a visible and trusted representative of the bank in the community
• Partner with executive leadership on strategy, growth, and succession planning

A successful candidate for this Market President role will possess the following:

• 10+ years of experience in community banking
• Strong commercial and/or CRE lending background
• Proven leadership experience at the branch or market level
• Solid credit analysis and loan structuring skills
• Ability to balance production with people leadership
• Strong emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills
• Desire to be actively involved in the community
• Bachelor’s degree required
