Manager – Data Transformation

Manager – Data Transformation | Private Equity-Backed Growth Company
Chicago, IL | Hybrid – 3 Days/Week

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed services organization in Chicago to find a Manager – Data Transformation who can play an important role in how the company integrates, manages, and scales its data.

The company has grown significantly through acquisition, creating an increasingly complex data environment across multiple businesses and systems. This person will help bring that data together—improving quality, consistency, and accessibility while building better tools and processes to support continued growth.

What You’ll Do

• Lead complex data transformation, integration, and migration initiatives

• Own and improve enterprise data quality, hygiene, and integrity

• Build automated tools to identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate data

• Leverage AI and automation to improve data transformation and monitoring

• Work hands-on with SQL, Python, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and related technologies

• Develop repeatable processes for data validation, mapping, and conversion

• Partner with business and technical teams to solve complex data challenges

• Help build the data infrastructure needed to support continued acquisition-driven growth

What We’re Looking For

• 5–7+ years in data transformation, data engineering, analytics, or a related field

• Strong SQL skills with hands-on Python or similar programming experience

• Experience working with complex datasets and multiple source systems

• Experience owning data quality, governance, or enterprise data initiatives

• Experience building automated monitoring or validation solutions

• Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in using AI and emerging technologies

• Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, Tableau, or similar experience is a plus
