We have been asked to help a great, multi-state, behavioral health client of ours fill a Senior Director of Intake & Admissions position.  The successful candidate will own the intake experience from first call to first day of care — leading a national team, scaling best-in-class systems, and ensuring every family’s journey starts with confidence, empathy, and speed.

What You’ll Do

• Lead & Scale: Set the strategy, structure, and performance standards for a growing intake operation serving families across multiple states.
• Optimize Access: Design and continuously improve the intake process — from inquiries and benefit verification to scheduling and service start.
• Empower Teams: Develop and coach a high-performing team of Intake Managers, Supervisors, and Advocates while driving accountability through clear KPIs and data.
• Leverage Technology: Implement and optimize tools like Salesforce, Talkdesk, and Power BI to improve visibility, automation, and reporting.
• Drive Insights: Analyze funnel metrics to remove bottlenecks, forecast demand, and inform leadership strategy.
• Champion the Family Experience: Build a culture that combines efficiency with empathy — ensuring every interaction reflects our mission and values.

What You Bring

• 8+ years in healthcare intake, admissions, or patient access (5+ in leadership).
• Experience scaling teams and systems in a high-growth, multi-site healthcare environment.
• Strong fluency in data, analytics, and operational KPIs.
• Hands-on expertise with CRM/call-center platforms (Salesforce, Talkdesk, Power BI).
• A collaborative, tech-forward mindset and a genuine passion for improving access to care.
