Feed Sales – Northeast Kansas

Ag 1 Source is looking for a Feed Sales professional to cover Northeast Kansas, focusing on all feed products. This is a great opportunity for someone with animal nutrition sales experience who enjoys working directly with producers and building long-term customer relationships.

What you will be doing:

• Make on-farm sales calls and develop strong, lasting relationships with producers.
• Travel throughout the trade area while maintaining a strong customer presence.
• Develop and execute sales plans to increase sales and market share.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional products, including minerals and raw commodities.
• Work with producers to develop business plans and analyze performance data as needed.
• Stay current on cattle and commodity markets to provide knowledgeable insight and have meaningful conversations with customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow up consistently with customers and prospects.

A successful candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Animal Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the animal nutrition/feed industry.
• Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term producer relationships.
• Strong understanding of cattle nutrition and commodity markets.
• Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working independently.
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
