VP of Business Development

Our client, a fast-growing agricultural organization, is revolutionizing efficiency and product performance for manufacturers, retailers, and cooperatives across the U.S. We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Business Development to lead growth within the manufacturer segment and expand into private-label and ingredient sales.

What you will be doing:

  • Driving business development strategy with a primary focus on U.S. manufacturers.
  • Introducing these technologies into the manufacturing and ag chem space.
  • Establishing and expanding relationships with middle-tier manufacturers, ag retailers, and co-ops.
  • Developing opportunities in private label, white label, and ingredient sales channels.
  • Serving as the face of the company in major markets and industry events.

A successful candidate for the VP of Business Development will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Agronomy, Plant Science, Chemistry, or related field preferred).
  • Proven track record of business development or sales leadership in Ag Chem, Ag Inputs, or related manufacturing markets.
  • Technical aptitude with ability to bridge science and business.
  • Strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, or ag retailers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

Compensation: Targeting a base up to $200K plus incentives
