Steven Locke, originally from a small town in south-central Tennessee, earned a degree in Agribusiness with a minor in Economics from Middle Tennessee State University. His career began at Tyson Foods in poultry processing, where he completed their Tyson Boot Camp to learn all things chicken. After three years, he joined Bunge in Louisiana, advancing to manage a river terminal handling grain procurement and barge loading. Seeking proximity to home, he transitioned to Siemer Milling Company, managing wheat procurement and financial operations. In 2020, Steven pivoted to recruiting, focusing on commodity trade and processing roles. He also completed a Master of Agribusiness from Kansas State University during this time.

In September 2024, Steven joined Ag1Source, where he thrives as part of a supportive and dynamic team. His role allows him to engage with Agribusiness leaders nationwide, connecting with originators, merchandisers, traders, and processors. Passionate about staying connected to commodity markets, Steven values the opportunity to help professionals achieve their career goals while maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends.

Steven is happily married to his wonderful wife, Katie, and they live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where he went to school and his wife is from. They have a beautiful baby girl, Eleanor Ann, and two German Shorthaired Pointers, Pat and Birdie. When he can find spare time, he enjoys trying to cook, pursuing personal growth, and challenging himself. He also enjoys working out at the gym and unwinding with a glass of bourbon and a good cigar.
