Rhonda Werner grew up on a farm in the small southwestern Kentucky town of Elkton, Kentucky. She graduated from Murray State University in 1999 with an Agronomy and Ag Business degree. She then began working for Rhone-Poulenc, which eventually evolved into Bayer CropScience.  Her focus was sales and service with Ag Retail and Distribution customers.  A move back to Kentucky led her to the General Manager role of the Owensboro, Kentucky location of Waters Agricultural Laboratories.

In 2007, Rhonda joined Ag1Source with a focus on recruiting in the Agronomy sector in the Southern US.  She became a partner in the organization in 2009 and continues to focus on Executive and Professional recruiting in the Agronomy industry in the Eastern part of the US.  Rhonda currently serves as our Director of People and Culture for both brands, is part of the Leadership Team and serves on our Board of Directors.

Rhonda and her husband, Ben, reside in her hometown of Elkton, Kentucky where they and their two children live on the family farm.  They currently farm corn, wheat, soybeans and sweet corn.  She is passionate about agriculture and works to be involved in many industry organizations, as well as helping with the local 4-H, FFA Chapters, Rotary Club and the Todd County Chamber of Commerce.
