This role will be responsible for

  • Overseeing end-to-end supply chain management to support production and product requirements
  • Managing and strengthening vendor relationships while identifying and onboarding new strategic suppliers
  • Leading purchasing staff in daily operations, including requisitions, expediting, and supply adjustments
  • Partnering with engineering to source and qualify vendors for new and existing products
  • Driving cost reduction initiatives and improving overall procurement efficiency
  • Maintaining accurate ERP system data for all purchased materials
  • Managing inventory levels, lead times, and supply continuity across multiple SKUs and programs
  • Resolving supplier and internal invoicing discrepancies in collaboration with finance
  • Supporting quality initiatives by addressing supply chain-related issues
  • Mentoring and developing team members to build long-term organizational capability

Expectations will include

  • Ensuring uninterrupted material flow to support production timelines
  • Maintaining strong communication across departments including marketing, manufacturing, engineering, and leadership
  • Achieving inventory performance targets, including turnover goals
  • Delivering consistent, on-time supply performance from vendors
  • Upholding high standards of data accuracy within ERP systems
  • Driving continuous improvement in processes, cost management, and supplier performance
  • Building trust-based relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners

A qualified candidate will possess the following

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively across diverse teams
