Medical Director

Medical Director – Primary Care | Wichita, KS

We’re partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization in Wichita, Kansas to find an experienced Medical Director who wants to combine patient care with meaningful clinical leadership.

This is a unique opportunity for a physician who still enjoys practicing medicine but also wants a voice in shaping how care is delivered. The Medical Director will spend approximately 16 hours per week providing direct patient care, while also leading and developing a talented team of physicians and advanced practice providers.

The opportunity:

• Provide strategic and clinical leadership for a growing primary care organization
• Mentor, coach and develop physicians, PAs and NPs
• Drive improvements in quality, patient experience and clinical outcomes
• Help expand services and improve access to care
• Partner closely with executive leadership on strategy and clinical operations
• Oversee provider performance, productivity and quality standards
• Play an important role in developing relationships with medical schools, residents and community partners
• Continue practicing medicine and staying connected to patients

We’re looking for a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician who brings strong clinical judgment, a collaborative leadership style and a genuine desire to serve the community.

Experience in an FQHC, community health center or similar mission-driven environment would be particularly valuable, but is not required.
