This role will be responsible for:
- Strategic Planning: Leading the development and implementation of payor strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Contracting Leadership: Negotiating and managing complex payor contracts, including value-based agreements and innovative payment models.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with payors to ensure successful partnerships and favorable terms.
- Market Analysis: Conducting market assessments to identify opportunities for growth and optimizing reimbursement strategies.
Expectations will include:
- Execution of Strategy: Ensuring the successful implementation of payor strategies across the organization.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilizing data analytics to inform strategic decisions and measure the success of contracts and payor partnerships.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensuring all contracts comply with relevant regulations and align with organizational policies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to drive the organization’s strategic objectives.
A qualified candidate will possess the following:
- Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in healthcare payor contracting, with a demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage complex negotiations across a region or the U.S.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, market trends, and financial reports to inform decision-making.
- Relationship Building: Excellent communication and relationship management skills with a track record of successful collaborations with payors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for an advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
Compensation: Compensation is strong and will include a base salary, bonus and equity.

Desired Location: This position can be remote but there will be some travel and the preference will be someone in the Midwest, South or Southeast.
