VP of Clinical Services

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Clinical Services to lead the clinical operations and nursing staff for an outstanding and rapidly growing home health related client of ours on a national scale. The VP of Clinical Services will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, maintaining compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, and serving as a clinical resource for complex patient cases.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Leadership:

   • Provide strategic direction and oversight for clinical operations across 30 states, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
   • Collaborate with regional clinical leaders to establish and maintain clinical standards, protocols, and best practices.
   • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the clinical teams.

2. Nursing Leadership:

   • Lead, mentor, and guide the nursing staff across multiple states, promoting clinical excellence and professional development.
   • Implement strategies to recruit and retain top-tier nursing talent.
   • Promote a patient-centric approach to care and ensure that patient needs are met effectively.

3. Quality Assurance:

   • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
   • Develop and implement quality assurance and improvement programs to maintain the highest standards of care.
   • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

4. Clinical Education and Resource:

   • Serve as a clinical resource for complex patient cases, including illness progression management and education for both clinical staff and patients.
   • Develop and deliver clinical training programs and resources to support ongoing education and development of the clinical team.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and compliance, to achieve organizational goals.
   • Communicate regularly with executive leadership and board members, providing updates on clinical performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and unrestricted license. Advanced degree (MSN or related field) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in home health or a related healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of home health regulations, reimbursement, and accreditation requirements.
• Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement initiatives, with a focus on illness progression management and education.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams across multiple states.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with private equity-backed organizations is a plus.

Compensation: Compensation will be a combination of base and bonus. Base salary could range from $125,000 to $175,000 annually. Bonus would be paid on top with success.
