Territory Sales Manager – WI, IL, IA, MO
Ag 1 Source is looking for a Territory Sales Manager for a territory covering parts of Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. This position would be with an experienced plant and soil health company and will focus on identifying strategic accounts and drive sales.

What you will be doing:
- Develop net revenue targets and life cycle management for the company’s portfolio
- Build demand for the company’s products with influential distributors retailers and growers
- Utilize agronomic expertise and strategic sales experience to develop, grow and maintain the market
- Work with technical teams to develop strategy, in-field teachings, training programs and agronomy meetings to educate internal and external partners
- Prospect new clients and build relationships with distributors and growers
A successful candidate for this Territory Manager position will possess the following:
- 10 plus years of Ag sales or field agronomy experience, managing and coaching individuals. Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be able to sell, negotiate, and influence key accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Science, Business, Marketing required, will consider other degrees with related field sales experience
- Understand changing market dynamics (forecasting, product/marketing input)
- An understanding of key products offered in the territory
- This is a combination of sales and sound agronomy work, a successful candidate must have that blend of both skills
- Ability to travel 50% time out of the territory
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to effectively operate collaboratively in a highly dynamic and informal environment

Desired Location: This position will need to be located within the territory, this is a must to be successful in this role.
