This role will be responsible for:

• Procuring food ingredients and chemicals for multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and addressing quality and delivery issues.
• Creating category roadmaps and overseeing supply categories to meet strategic goals.
• Ensuring compliance with contracts through ongoing evaluation and monitoring.
• Leading project teams and driving initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

Expectations will include:

• Negotiating contracts for optimal pricing, quality, and service.
• Addressing and resolving supplier-related issues, including claims and disputes.
• Evaluating supplier capabilities through site visits and assessments.
• Innovating and implementing solutions to complex procurement challenges.
• Building long-term stakeholder relationships with a focus on superior service.

A qualified candidate will possess the following:

• A bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business, or Economics.
• Over six years of procurement experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing principles, practices, and Global Food Safety Initiative standards.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in operational flows, planning, and scheduling.
