Job Description
Territory Sales – Iowa
Ag 1 Source is looking for a Territory Sales candidate for Iowa with some coverage into Minnesota, South Dakota, Illinois, and Missouri. This position would be with a leading agronomic technology company that is looking for a qualified candidate to identify strategic accounts and drive direct sales in the region.

What you will be doing:
- Develop net revenue targets and life cycle management for the company’s portfolio
- Build demand for the company’s technical products with influential Ag Retailers, equipment dealers and growers
- Utilize agronomic expertise and strategic sales experience to develop, grow and maintain the market
- Work with technical teams to develop demo strategy, in-field teachings and training programs
- Prospect new clients and build relationships
A successful candidate for this Territory Sales position will possess the following:
- 5 plus years of Ag sales, equipment sales or field agronomy experience and ideally have a bachelor’s degree in ag related field
- Must be able to sell, negotiate, and influence key accounts
- Understand changing market dynamics (forecasting, product/marketing input)
- This is a combination of sales and sound agronomy work, a successful candidate must have that blend of both skills
- Ability to travel the territory
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to effectively operate collaboratively in a highly dynamic and informal environment
Compensation: A competitive compensation package is provided base salary and commissions

Desired Location: This position can be located ideally in the state of Iowa or Southern Minnesota
