Regional Sales Manager
Ag1Source is the exclusive recruiter for this opportunity in a well-established, and successful seed company. In this role you will lead the sales and agronomy team to meet sales goals through daily direction, coaching, marketing strategy, and prioritization of resources throughout Western Iowa and Eastern Nebraska.

What you will be doing:
- Lead, coach, and mentor the organization’s sales team to meet or exceed seed sales goals
- Lead the ongoing recruiting and development of the team in order to support the ongoing talent pipeline within the organization
- Develop strategic business plans with each member of the sales team to optimize sales and growth in each territory
- Serve as an integral part of the organizations leadership team to drive sales, marketing, and operational success
- Proactively and strategically work with various functions of the organization to ensure Marketing, Product Supply, Sales, and business development goals are met
- Meet all reporting requirements on forecasting and provide marketplace intelligence and customer and strategic business insights with recommendations to seize opportunities and/or address issue
A successful candidate for this Regional Sales Manager job will possess the following:
- Excellent demonstrated ability to coach others to drive results (ability to attract and develop talent)
- Prior people manager experience or history of demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent business acumen, planning, influencing and critical thinking skills
- Excellent analytical and innovative sales and negotiation skills (documented ability to drive results through others)
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, written communication, as well as conflict management skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly build strategic relationships and influence behavior through building trust and being inclusive
Compensation: Targeted compensation will depend on experience, and will also include an incentive package

Desired Location: To maximize effectiveness and minimize travel, this role will ideally be based west of Interstate 35
