What You Will Be Doing:

• Overseeing the daily operations of a purebred cow-calf operations.
• Managing and mentoring crew members to ensure safe, efficient, and humane handling of livestock
• Coordinating logistics and preparation for production sales, AI programs, and data collection activities
• Assisting with grazing management, feed programs, and implementation of cutting-edge reproductive and genetic strategies
• Ensuring equipment, facilities, and infrastructure are maintained and functional
• Reporting and communicating regularly with ownership on goals, progress, and improvements
• Representing the ranch with professionalism, hospitality, and respect for guests, sale buyers, and the broader ranching community

A Successful Candidate Will Possess the Following:

• Demonstrated experience managing or assisting in purebred cattle operations, with a solid understanding of cattle husbandry, genetics, and performance data
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance immediate tasks with long-term planning
• A calm, respectful demeanor with the ability to lead by example and foster a positive working environment
• Excellent communication skills—both within the team and externally – with buyers, consultants, and partners
• Comfortable using or learning ranch management software and data tools
• A heart for stewardship and alignment with the ranch’s mission to use God’s resources wisely and feed His people well
