Ag 1 Source is looking for an Operations and Feed Manager. Our client is an elite ranch with an intensely managed high quality cow herd. We are looking for someone that understands the extras it takes to play at their level.

What you will be doing:

• Overseeing day-to-day feeding operations for large highly managed cow/calf ranch, including livestock care and pasture management
• Monitoring inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply ordering
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and animal welfare standards
• Collaborating with ownership on budgeting, reporting, and long-term planning

A successful candidate for this Operations and Feed Manager job will possess the following:

• Proven experience in ranch or farm management
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Practical knowledge of livestock care, fencing, irrigation, and equipment maintenance
• Ability to work independently in a remote location
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Compensation: $75,000

Benefits: Housing provided

Desired Location: South Dakota
