North American Operations Director

Ag 1 Source is looking for a North American Operations Director for a well established business that is looking to continue to grow and expand their business in North America. This particular role in the Ag Services industry will oversee the North America P&L, sales, marketing, planning, policies and performance goals.

We are seeking someone in this role who has a strong technical and agronomic background, strong relationships with many of the large Crop Protection and Seed companies, experience running a business, a strong leader with a team centric mentality. This is a great opportunity to step in due to a retirement transition and learn from the current individual who has been very successful in this role.

What you will be doing:

• Continue to grow the North America business but also develop talent internally
• Lead their technical services by growing business with current CP and Seed companies as well as adding new organizations as clients and seeking out other service opportunities.
• Overseeing operations, budgets, P&L, etc.
• Reviewing operational performance
• Review and improve profitability
• Drive overall business success and growth while fostering a very family and team centric culture

A successful candidate for this North America Operations Director will possess the following:

• Strong network of CP and Seed companies
• Preferred MBA/Masters or PhD in Agronomy or other ag related area
• Exceptional leadership and operational management experience
• MUST have Operational experience of running a business $13M or more
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills

Compensation: Will depend on experience but targeting $150-$200K base

Desired Location: We are seeking someone to be in the Missouri area or Central US and willing to go back and forth to office as needed
