Midwest Business Manager
Ag 1 Source is working with one of its outstanding clients in the crop inputs sector to add a Business Unit Manager to their team. This organization is seeking a candidate with the ability to establish and manage a new distribution channel for this expanding company. This is a nationally recognized manufacturer, with business partnerships with crop inputs retailers and distributors, who is seeking an individual with seed industry and dealer development experience to build and lead this new line of business for the organization.

What you will be doing:
- Actively grow the company’s presence by partnering with independent dealers and retailers in the region
- Deliver solutions that will enhance the profitability of these dealers and improve their customer’s success
- Leverage current recognition in the market to expand the footprint of this business
- Educate customers on product and platform positioning
- Actively participate in the development of sales plans, strategies, and tactics
- Provide feedback about the company’s products, competitor’s products, and competitive landscape for strategic planning purposes
A successful candidate for the Business Manager will possess the following:
- Ability to travel
- Success in increasing sales within an organization, being their trusted partner to bring new solutions
- Proven ability to develop successful programs for independent seed dealers and recruit them to promote your products
- Self-starter with proven leadership experience
- A passion for creating value propositions to improve your customer’s success
Compensation: This is a highly regarded organization, with significant potential for personal growth and career advancement beyond this great opportunity. The targeted base will depend on experience and will also have a very lucrative sales incentive plan. It would not be unheard of for a total base/bonus range to be in the $170,000 – 200,000 range for a top performer.

Desired Location: The position is remote, but ideally located in Iowa or Illinois.
