This role will be responsible for

  • Developing and implementing regional strategies to expand market share, sales, and brand positioning.
  • Building and maintaining key relationships with growers, importers, retailers, and strategic partners throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
  • Leading cross-functional teams—including Commercial, Technical, Quality, R&D—to align with global strategic objectives.
  • Overseeing licensing strategy, IP management, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Acting as the regional authority on market dynamics, identifying risks and opportunities, and adapting business plans accordingly.
  • Representing the company in leadership and board meetings, with full accountability for regional performance.

Expectations will include

  • Define and meet financial goals, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the region.
  • Ensure operational excellence across sales, marketing, technical services, and quality control.
  • Lead and coordinate the execution of marketing events and promotional campaigns to strengthen brand presence.
  • Provide leadership to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
  • Facilitate smooth communication between regional teams and global headquarters.
  • Regular travel within assigned territories and occasional travel to global offices for strategic alignment.

A qualified candidate will possess the following

  • 10+ years of proven leadership experience in agriculture, horticulture, or fresh produce sectors, particularly in table grapes, cherries, and/or blueberries.
  • Strong expertise in strategic planning, financial management (P&L), and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing cross-cultural, cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and advanced presentation/reporting capabilities.
  • Fluency in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish or French is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with availability for frequent travel across North America.

Compensation: Salary for this role is a range based on experience, and will also include incentives based on profitability and growth of the North American business
