Distributor Sales Representative – Yuma, AZ

Ag 1 Source is looking for a sales representative to work with Retailers and Distribution partners in the Yuma, AZ region. Our client is introducing an exciting proven and patented technology that encapsulates inputs allowing better penetration of the plant improving the performance of crop inputs. This role will grow sales by educating growers, retail agronomy organizations, crop consultants, on how your products with help them reduce costs and improve both yields and harvest quality. This is a small growing company that is very family friendly, and the package includes a strong base salary and a very aggressive commission structure.

What you will be doing:

• Cultivate relationships with key distributors leading to product sales
• Engage with strategic demonstration farms to setup test plots and trials to demonstrate product efficacy
• Provide reliable estimates and forecasts of future sales for company projections

A successful candidate for this Distributor Sales Representative role will possess the following:

• 5-7 years working experience in ag sales or business development in crop nutrition
• B.S. Degree in an agricultural field
• PCA or CCA license preferred
• Excellent relationship management experience with retail organizations in the region, with a good understanding of their businesses and goals
• A history of working seamlessly with marketing, manufacturing, finance, to establish and implement strategies and initiatives
• The ability to work from home and travel the geography of the region

Compensation: The salary range for this role will depend on the candidate’s qualifications with a competitive base salary in addition to an aggressive commission schedule
