This role will be responsible for

  • Developing and executing strategic marketing plans that align with organizational goals
  • Leading cross-channel marketing campaigns – from concept to launch – with measurable ROI
  • Managing brand identity to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all platforms
  • Overseeing the marketing budget and optimizing allocation to maximize impact
  • Conducting ongoing market research to uncover trends and competitive opportunities
  • Building alignment across sales, agronomy, product, and executive teams
  • Analyzing performance metrics and refining strategies based on data-driven insights
  • Preparing and presenting marketing strategies and results to senior leadership

Expectations will include

  • Balancing high-level strategic planning with roll-up-your-sleeves execution
  • Maintaining a strong presence in the office three days per week while managing remote flexibility
  • Representing the organization at key industry events, often requiring travel
  • Staying ahead of emerging marketing trends, tools, and best practices
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure marketing supports all functional business needs
  • Shifting direction quickly and effectively in response to real-time data or evolving priorities

A qualified candidate will possess the following

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and experience in Ag Industry Marketing
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in marketing and product demand creation
  • A proven track record of success in brand development, campaign execution, and ROI optimization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, influence, and drive cross-functional results
  • Preferred background or working knowledge of agriculture or crop inputs
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics and modern digital marketing platforms

Compensation: Base will depend on experience, but targeting $100-$140K base plus incentives.

Desired Location: ideally want someone who is based out of St Louis and can be onsite a few days a week and work remote a few days a week.
