Director of Growth Strategy
We have been asked to help one of our great PE-backed clients identify an exceptional candidate for an outstanding growth-related role within their organization. The successful person will serve as a de facto Chief of Staff to the Chief Growth Officer and assist with a myriad of growth-related projects including de novo starts across multiple states, competitive analyses, acquisition evaluations, payor rate negotiations, or even marketing efforts. Analysis skills, familiarity with valuation modeling, and the ability to take initiative and get things done with minimal supervision will be key.

Some of the things you will be doing include:
- Evaluating new markets (states and MSAs therein) for geographic expansion, including market sizing, competitive mapping, identification of material payors, evaluation of clinician labor pool, and other quantitative and qualitative analyses to support Executive and Board-level strategic decision making.
- Identifying target markets for de novo expansion in new and existing markets, and communication of target markets to tenant rep brokers for identification of de novo lease opportunities.
- Vetting and underwriting de novo lease opportunities, including financial modeling of de novo ramp and profitability at maturity and presentation of viable opportunities to the Executive team and the Board.
- Creating and maintaining market sizing models, competitor database, lease economics benchmarking, de novo opportunity pipeline, and other models, analyses and databases utilized in the growth process.
- Serving as a key member of the growth team and supporting the Chief Growth Officer on a wide variety of other growth-related activities as assigned.
A successful candidate for this Director of Growth Strategy will possess the following:
- 3 – 5 years of investment banking, private equity, accounting or consulting experience and a strong familiarity with the buy / sell / valuation process.
- Exceptional technical modeling and analytical skills.
- A willingness to play a key, hands-on role in a variety of growth-related activities for the organization.
- Exceptional presentation (written and verbal) and communication skills.
- A 4-year degree in business or finance or other related areas. An advanced degree is preferred.
Compensation: Compensation will include a base salary and bonus. The base salary range will be somewhere between $140 and $170 and will be dependent upon skills and experience. Bonus will be 20% at plan.

Desired Location: This role can be hybrid but will include some travel.
