This role will be responsible for:
- Strategic Growth: Developing and executing a long-term business plan to drive U.S. market expansion.
- Sales Leadership: Directly overseeing sales activities and promoting industry-leading pig genetic solutions.
- Operational Management: Ensuring operational excellence, including profit and loss performance, order processing, and delivery.
- Market Insight: Gathering and reporting key market intelligence to inform global decision-making.
- Customer Relationships: Building strong, value-driven relationships with key producers and industry partners.
- Team Development: Recruiting, mentoring, and leading a talented U.S.-based team as the organization grows.
Expectations will include:
- Business Development: Achieve sustainable, profitable growth by expanding market presence and securing key accounts.

A qualified candidate will possess the following:
- Extensive Industry Knowledge: At least 10 years of experience in pig production and genetics sales, preferably in North America.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales and technical sales targets.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Experience establishing and scaling business operations in new markets.
- Relationship Builder: Strong network within the U.S. pig production industry.
- Strategic and Tactical Expertise: Skilled in value-based selling with deep knowledge of agricultural markets and sales channels.
- Leadership Skills: Hands-on, results-driven leadership style with team-building abilities.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in agribusiness, animal science, or a related field, preferably with a specialization in pig production.
- Cultural Agility: Comfortable collaborating across cultures, particularly with European leadership.
- Strong Ethics: Commitment to ethical leadership and fostering a value-driven work culture.
Compensation: This role has a compensation range based on experience, current relationships, and aptitude to build the brand in this market. The package also includes an excellent incentive plan based on growth and profitability throughout the US market.

Desired Location: Candidates will ideally be based in IN, IL, IA, or MN to lead the team and focus on growth with current and prospective customers.
