Biotechnology Territory Sales Rep

Ag 1 Source is looking for a Biotechnology Territory Sales Rep to take an exciting new line of products (specifically one focused on wheat in this geography at this point) and grow the business to the next level. This isn’t your traditional start-up company, this group is backed by several large and well known and established ag companies as well as tied into milling companies who will be paying the growers a premium for using their product. They are already working with many of the large Ag Retailers and Distributors in this area and are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to grow a business and be well rewarded for their efforts as well as potential equity. We need a self-motivated seller who is ready to make an impact with a market shifting product.

What you will be doing:

• Helping the distributors and dealers in this area of North Dakota sell the product
• Educate growers and dealers on the ROI as well as premium potential
• Goal to grow the treated acres substantially over the next few years
• Traveling across the area and meeting with farmers alongside the dealers/distributors

A successful candidate for this Territory Sales Rep will possess the following:

• Proven track record of sales success
• Agronomy background is preferred but a strong sales personality with an overall Ag background will be needed
• They are happy to teach the agronomy side if someone isn’t as strong there
• Driver, self-motivated, entrepreneurial type person that knows the harder they work the more they can make as well as have a potential equity stake in the company

Compensation: Will depend on the person, but with base and bonus potential, you should be able to be in the $150K+ ballpark for the right experience

Desired Location: Would prefer in and around Minot, ND – within a 100 mile radius or so, or in North Dakota
