Cow Herd Manager

Ag 1 Source is looking for a Cow Herd Manager. Our client is an elite Show Steer ranch that is looking for a key player in their organization. We are looking for someone that understands the extras it takes to play at their level. Not looking for a steer jock or a clipper hand, but someone that truly understands the cow herd and their care.

What you will be doing:

• Feeding and haying high dollar cow herd
• Calving out and tending baby calves in the cold weather
• Watching the grass grow under big skies while the baby calves grow
• Earn your keep in a cool environment

A successful candidate for this Cow Herd Manager will possess the following:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of cow/calf operation
• Strong feeding and animal health knowledge
• A work ethic that drives their personal commitment
• Good communication and leadership skills

Compensation: $75,000

Benefits: Housing and other benefits

Desired Location: South Dakota
