This role will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing marketing and strategic plans to optimize sales and growth.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the agronomy division, including fertilizer, chemical, seed sales, custom application, and precision agriculture.
  • Managing personnel, operations, and resources to achieve division and company objectives.
  • Ensuring top-tier customer service and satisfaction in all agronomy-related services.
  • Supervising equipment management, including maintenance, scheduling, and evaluation.

Expectations will include:

  • Effective execution of marketing strategies to promote products and services.
  • Strategic planning to align divisional goals with the overall company strategy.
  • Managing the daily operations of the agronomy division, ensuring efficiency and safety.
  • Overseeing and mentoring the agronomy team to foster growth and accountability.
  • Collaborating with other location managers for optimal resource utilization.

A qualified candidate will possess the following:

  • A 4-year degree in Crop Science, Business, or related field (or 6-10 years of related experience in lieu of education).
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience in managing Profit & Loss statements and developing marketing plans.
  • Commercial driver’s license (Class A) or the ability to obtain one within 30 days.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
